The Spiritual Work IS the Business Work

Why the inner work isn't separate from your business — it's the most leveraged thing you can do for your P&L. And why $115M proved it.

Let me be direct: when I say "spiritual work," I don't mean crystals and affirmations.

I mean the deep, uncomfortable, transformative process of removing the blockages — the fears, limiting beliefs, trapped emotions, and conditioning — that are silently running you at cross-purpose to everything you want.

And I'm going to make a claim that might sound bold: this work has a direct, measurable impact on your business.

I know because $115M proved it.

The false separation

We've been taught that business is business and personal growth is personal growth. That what happens in your inner work lives in a different category than what shows up on your P&L.

This is wrong.

Every business decision you make is filtered through your psychology. Every leadership moment is shaped by your emotional patterns. Every growth phase is limited by the capacity of your vessel — your body, mind, and emotions.

The separation between "inner work" and "business work" is an illusion — and it's an expensive one.

How it shows up on the P&L

Here's what I've observed, both in my own journey building to $115M and in working with other founders:

Unprocessed fear creates conservative decisions. When you're operating from unresolved anxiety, you play small. You don't launch the thing. You don't make the hire. You don't raise prices. Fear doesn't announce itself — it disguises itself as "being smart" or "waiting for the right time."

Unresolved identity issues create team problems. If you don't know who you are beneath the founder identity, you'll build a team that reinforces your ego instead of your vision. You'll hire people who make you feel needed instead of people who make you obsolete.

Limited vessel capacity creates self-sabotage. You can want more and simultaneously not be able to hold more. The result? You'll unconsciously create problems at every new level to bring yourself back to what feels familiar. Your vessel has a comfort point — and it will fight to stay there.

"Sounds woo-woo" — until you look at the results

I get the objection. I would've had the same one five years ago.

But here's the thing: the person making that objection is usually the same person who's tried every strategy, hired every consultant, attended every mastermind — and is still stuck at the same number.

The world is set up to keep you reactive. It programs you to believe your mind is god. You're triggered, trapped, and emotionally blocked — and taught that the answer is shifting something outside of you.

The opposite of reactive isn't passive. It's coming from a place of wholeness. Not needing something external to feel good. Working on finding the right viewpoint — the one from which what you want is effortless, easy, and clear. Not a state you enter temporarily — a place you can literally exist.

That's not woo-woo. That's operational. And $115M in revenue is the proof that the physical game alone isn't enough.

What changed for me

When I went through my own transformation — the therapy, the spiritual study, the radical self-examination — I didn't set out to improve my business. I set out to stop being a shell of myself.

But the impact was undeniable. Not because I learned new strategies. Because I became someone who could hold more. More complexity. More abundance. More truth.

The vessel expanded. And everything that flowed through it expanded too.

Reality collapsed into me. What I'd been chasing from the outside was suddenly just... there. Not eventually. Immediately.

The invitation

If you're reading this and something is resonating — that uncomfortable recognition that maybe the thing holding you back isn't what you thought — pay attention to that.

It's not weakness. It's awareness. And awareness is the beginning of everything.

Every other living species exists in pure harmony with its environment. Humans are completely disoriented in theirs. The spiritual work is about returning to that harmony — and discovering that when you do, everything you've been fighting for starts flowing toward you.
